Miuts and Asams

The following is a list of existing miuts and asams that players have created for knight, soldier, and archer characters. Feel free to have your character be part of one of these miuts or asams, or create a miut or asam of your own!

Bear Miut

Realm: Land

Faction: Soldiers

Number: 7

Naciron: Not Given

The Bear miut centers around the philosophy that a warrior is an army as himself. They believe the individual power of each soldier contributes to the outcome of a battle far more than the power of the group as a whole.

Members:

  • Cade Monclair

Dralk Miut

Realm: Land

Faction: "Knights"

Number: 25

Naciron: The Patrolmaster

The Dralk Miut was a "remedial" unit for castoffs during the Age of Darkness which evolved into the Patrol. It is now a defunct miut, though older masters may use the name in jest to refer to the Patrol.

Eagle Miut

Realm: Air

Faction: Knights

Number: 22

Naciron: Akhile Sheradin

The Eagle Miut is very well-disciplined, and loyal to their naciron. They've worked hard to keep their unit free of the corruption that has tainted much of the guild. But due to their strict morality, they've lost a lot of their former political influence, and as such the unit's prestige has suffered somewhat. They tend to work a lot with the Falcon Asam, although the asam can be rather antagonistic toward them.

Members:

  • Akhile Sheradin
  • Pol Tarinth

Elk Miut

Realm: Land

Faction: Knights

Number: 18

Naciron: Aniketos Nedra

The Elk miut, while more traditional than some miuts, is rather flexible, and not very uptight. They are dignified and proud.

Members:

  • Aniketos Nedra

Equine Miut

Realm: Land

Faction: Knights

Number: 8

Naciron: None Given

Equine Miut has a long and respected history as being one of the oldest miuts, always traditional, always adhering strictly to the law. In other words, they're a bunch of stuffy hide-bound traditionalists who put the law before anything else. It doesn't matter who the offender is - if you break the law, you get the maximum punishment, if Equine Miut has anything to do with it (though royalty might get off a little easier, depending on who's doing the prosecuting).

Falcon Asam

Realm: Air

Faction: Archers

Number: 9

Missilemaster: Dantai A'osut

They're an elite asam, not only for their shooting but for their unbreakable fearlessness even in their apprentices. Always taking their duty serious to the utmost, they are always prepared physically and mentally for wartime, never keeping their bows far from themselves.

Members:

  • Dantai A'osut
  • Jeremie Nostal

Firedragon Miut

Realm: Fire

Faction: Knights

Number: 10

Naciron: None Given

The Fire Dragon miut is known for containing people with uncertain tempers, and those who need strong leadership. They are known for having violent members, and not many people risk getting on their bad side.

Members:

  • Cearo Edana
  • Shyanne Hildra

Flaret Miut

Realm: Fire

Faction: Soldiers

Number: 3

Naciron: None Given

The Flaret Miut is one of the few active Soldier miuts in peacetime, and as such is filled with many veteran and high-ranking soldiers. This miut is often considered a springboard for those looking to advance into a Knight miut.

Members:

  • Plo Kivaris

Gryphon Miut

Realm: Air

Faction: Knights

Number: 13

Naciron: None Given

The Gryphon Miut is an Air miut with a collective bad temper and penchant for action. Their justice is swift, harsh, and occasionally unprovoked. Their rashness often falls on those who have questionable or suspicious circumstances, even if it's not really warranted.

Kraenon Miut

Realm: Land

Faction: Knights

Number: 3

Naciron: Rhys Clearwater

The Kraenon Miut is one of the oldest and most prestigious miuts of Shadowstar. Formed largely of high-ranking nobles, it has a good deal of influence and spends more times in politics than in organized combat. Within this miut are the elite rangers, freelance knights who tend to spend a lot of time disassociated with their miut.

Members:

  • Elessar Ancalime
  • Rhys Clearwater

Lingsii Miut

Realm: Fire

Faction: Knights

Number: 14

Naciron: Aeun Vlashnovik

The Lingsi divide their time equally between combat and law, many of its members being active in the judicial circuits. Taking after the example of their naciron, many are experts in dual-wielding. They are well-trained and disciplined, but don't stick out very much.

Members:

  • Aeun Vlashnovik
  • Orian Relles (fourth ciron)

Phoenix Miut

Realm: Fire

Faction: Knights

Number: 12

Naciron: Allinor

The Phoenix Miut is known for its mischief, its courage, and its collective temper. They're a tight-knit group, very protective of their own. They're also not the most traditional of miuts.

Members:

  • Allinor
  • Tyrona Starfire

Raven Asam

Realm: Archers

Faction:

Number: 12

Missilemaster: Akilesh Galliard

Priding themselves in extensive practical knowledge and practice in strategic use of bows, this asam is composed almost entirely of elite centaur archers.

Members:

  • Akilesh Galliard

Sciuri Miut

Realm: Land

Faction: Knights

Number: 28

Naciron: Zayr A'osut

The polar opposite of the Equine Miut, this miut is largely made up of the younger generation of knights, who are more committed to personal morality than tradition. This isn't to say they aren't well-trained, though; their naciron personally makes sure each of the miuts are in top form.

Members:

  • Alcide Aukai (fourth ciron)
  • Averil K'var
  • Ayana Maitris
  • Aysa Coeln
  • Caldre Beceere (fifth ciron)
  • Colette Johnson
  • Elsan Ittrya (first ciron)
  • Galya Krieger
  • Harting Zevakiah
  • Jeffrey Hallis
  • Kakura Mountainriver
  • Keshalan Tero

  • Nicandro Everard (second ciron)
  • Orlando Bloom
  • Rinstel
  • Rocco Tyre
  • Seyal Amitin (third ciron)
  • Tersed Unjir
  • Zayr A'osut

Sijaer Miut

Realm: Water

Faction: Knights

Number: 15

Naciron: Tyrus Thanes

The Sijaer Miut prides itself on its cool rationality and adherence to chivalry. They're tradition-bound, but not so much so as to be completely inflexible.

Members:

  • Artan Attimus
  • Binne Asta
  • Leil Ismola
  • Tyrus Thanes

Unicorn Miut

Realm: Land

Faction: Knights

Number: 2

Naciron: Whoever the current Lightmaster is

The Unicorn Miut is a cover miut for the Ctsu Klarn to move under when they prefer to keep the existance of the Ctsu secret. One of the oldest miuts, it is also one of the least active and prominent due to the Ctsu sticking within their own organization.

Wolf Asam

Realm: Land

Faction: Archers

Number: 12

Naciron: None Given

The Wolf Asam is trained primarily for forest and guerilla tactics, emphasising speed and stealth techniques.

Members:

  • Nidora Clef
  • Rillhin Amitin
  • Yale Corrigan
